A) Production Journal (7%) - 0.5% for every journal entry - Assessed every fortnight
Each student continues to keep their production journal during the post-production stage of the major project. This journal may be in the form off;

  1. A written document 
  2. A weblog
  3. A video diary 
  4. Another form that is agreed upon with teaching staff. 
The journal is a weekly account of your;
  1. Participation in the project
  2. Activities and tasks completed
  3. Skills acquired and practiced 
  4. Any other relevant information. 
  5. Your reflections on the group processes
  6. Your interactions and collaborations (observed or experienced during the week)

B) 500 word review of the post-production process (3%) - Due at the end of Week 14
Students are required to compile a short review of the post-production process using material from the journal. 
The review examines each student’s practical experience, identifying every aspect of the editing and finishing process. The review is to focus on the strengths and weakness in the raw material they were given, the nature of their own strengths and weakness in their particular post-production role and the steps they took to address both areas. Important components of the review are: a time line of the post-production process; a section on working with the director in post-production; and an evaluation of any other aspect of their post-production work. Each student must complete a final review that is a maximum of 500 words or equivalent.
